Urs Zogg finished his master studies in electronics at the SFIT Zürich in 1978.

Urs worked in the audio industry, from 1979 to 1986 (P1), (P2), was head of the Revox Product Line (SR) and head of Willi Studer’s product development.

Urs was professor at the ZHAW, from 1987 till 2002, where he was teaching electronics & communication (IP-technologies in computer-, telecommunication- and automation-networks).

Urs was CEO of Newbac AG, from 2003 to 2023, till the age of 70 years and responsible for telecommunication- services and CPE, mainly in the voice-over-IP field.
